 Salina Diocese – Kristi Anguiano

Kristi has taught for over 30 years within the Salina Diocese in Junction City and Abilene, KS. In her current school St. Andrews’ she has served as a coach, mentor, 5th grade teacher, and leader with care, integrity, passion, and dedication. Mrs. Anguiano takes a keen interest in helping all students as an educator and servant of God. She has a strong faith and presence within her church community and is always willing to help when needed for any parish and school functions. Mrs. Anguiano truly lives her life to serve God by helping through the many roles she plays in the lives she has graced.

 

Dodge City Diocese – Kathy Whitley

Kathy is an innovative 2nd and 3rd grade teacher at Sacred Heart School in Ness City. Since 1981, she has skillfully balanced creativity and fun with academic rigor while teaching multiple grade levels. Mrs. Whitley helps all children experience success and develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. She maintains a high level of expectations and a love of family at Sacred Heart School. Mrs. Whitley has provided a great service to her church and school for many years and loves doing so.

 

 

Kansas City Archdiocese – John C Clark

John Clark is a Physics an Engineering teacher at Bishop Miege High School. He has been at Bishop Miege for 4 years and in Catholic education for 11 years. Students draw so much energy from him because he invests in their lives at the same time being a phenomenal instructor. JC attends to his own spiritual life, he has an authentic relationship with God and it is inspiring. He is a teacher who models compassion void judgement as he moves students from a laissez faire mode to mental and emotional exhilaration.

 

 Lutheran Schools – Kathy McIntosh

Kathy McIntosh has been serving as a Lutheran educator for 43 years. She has been serving the staff of Hope Lutheran School since 1991, teaching in grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Kathy is passionate about serving others. She has coordinated all-school Christmas drives for over 25 years for those less fortunate in the community, working in conjunction with Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries. Kathy has a love and passion for teaching and sharing Jesus with her students and their families. She has touched many lives in such a positive way during her years in the education ministry.

 

 Independent School – Monica Patino

 Monica Patino has been a part of the English staff at The Independent School for nearly 20 years. Due to her high level of educating, every Junior and Senior level English class qualifies for dual credit at the University level. The students generally love Mrs. Patino and chose her to read their names at the graduation ceremony last year. Monica is a teacher with high academic standards, strong student rapport, adaptability, and the constant drive to better her practice.

 

 Wichita Diocese – Aubrey Logsdon

 Ms. Logsdon possesses a true gift of spiritual motherhood. She embodies empathy and is a gifted listener. It is ingrained in her heart to display so much love to all of her students and treat them as though each one is her favorite – which is difficult to do. With these virtues, Ms. Logsdon has served as an effective mentor for students, for new teachers both in and outside of the English department, and for colleagues. Ms. Logsdon has been a Family Member of the Apostles of the Interior Life since 2009.  Her every word and action echoes’ the phrase “Ti Voglio Bene.” Which is Italian for “I want what is best for you.” Her faith is uncompromising and woven in every single lesson!
