Keynote Speaker Cari Ebert
“The Power of Play in the Development of Young Children.” – Cari Ebert
Cari Ebert is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and a popular nationally recognized speaker. She will bring her high-energy all-day presentation as she queries “Is true play worth preserving?”
Cari will provide helpful insights into and an evidence-based approach to how play can impact our 21st Century early childhood education. She will also discuss the ramifications of increased technology in the classroom and at home and elevated early academic expectations.
Join Cari as she discusses the power of play by examining the following topics: the developmental benefits of play, how high-tech toys are changing the dynamics of play, how to effectively prepare young learners for school and the importance of relationship-based learning.
Cari Ebert, MS, CCC-SLP, is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in private practice in the Kansas City, Missouri area. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa and Master of Science degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
